This Privacy Policy explains how Shift Smart AI, a dba of Lubke Enterprises LLC ("Shift Smart AI," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and sells personal information when you use claudestudycards.com and the Claude Study Cards platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information you give us

• Account information: email address and password (passwords are stored in encrypted, hashed form by our authentication provider; we cannot see them)
• Readiness check: email address, quiz answers, score, and the exam domains you missed
• Study activity: cards studied, answers, scores, bookmarks, streaks, practice exam results, and progress
• Written answers: text you type into features like "Explain it back"
• Communications: messages you send us, feedback, and testimonials

Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited billing information from Stripe, such as your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, billing dates, and the last four digits and brand of your card.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location (city/region level), pages viewed, referring website, and timestamps
• Cookies and similar browser storage used to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as dark mode), and measure how the Service is used

• Provide, operate, and secure the Service and your account
• Process payments, manage subscriptions, and handle refunds
• Track your study progress and personalize your study experience
• Evaluate your written answers using AI features you choose to use
• Send account, billing, and service emails
• Send marketing emails about Claude Study Cards, other Shift Smart AI products, and our affiliated companies (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Understand usage and improve our content and features
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms
• Comply with legal obligations

Service providers. We share information with vendors who help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us:

• Stripe (payments and billing)
• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Vercel (website hosting)
• Resend (email delivery)
• Anthropic (AI evaluation of text you submit in AI features)

Affiliates and related companies. We may share or sell personal information, including your name, email address, readiness check results, and general study and subscription information, with:

• Shift Smart AI's other products and services (such as SpyGlass)
• Other businesses owned or controlled by Lubke Enterprises LLC or its owners
• Companies, partnerships, and joint ventures in which Shift Smart AI, Lubke Enterprises LLC, or its owners hold an ownership interest or are otherwise involved, including any entity formed with our business partners, that offer similar or related products and services, such as AI education and training, certification and exam preparation, AI consulting, automation, and lead generation

Together, these are our "Affiliates." Affiliates may use this information to market their own products and services to you. See Section 4 for how to opt out.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Shift Smart AI, our users, or others.

Business transfers and successor entity. Claude Study Cards may be transferred to a new or different legal entity, including a company formed by Shift Smart AI, Lubke Enterprises LLC, or its owners together with business partners. Your information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets. In any such transfer, your personal information will move with the business and remain subject to this Privacy Policy until the new owner updates it, and we will notify you by email or on the website.

With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your permission, such as publishing a testimonial with your name.

We do not sell or share payment card information, passwords, or the text you type into AI features.

Because we may share or sell personal information to our Affiliates, you have the right to opt out. You can opt out at any time by using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in this section, or by emailing anita@shiftsmartai.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" from the email address on your account. We will honor your request within 15 business days. Opting out does not affect your access to the Service.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or emailing us. You will still receive account and billing emails while you have an account.

We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary for signing in, security, and remembering your preferences. We may also use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we must keep it for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes (for example, billing records). Readiness check leads who never create an account may be kept for marketing until they unsubscribe or ask us to delete their information.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and database-level permissions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live (including Texas, California, and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we have about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your personal information
• Get a copy of your information in a portable format
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To make a request, email anita@shiftsmartai.com from the email address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, with proof of authorization. We will respond within 45 days, or as required by applicable law.

Appeals. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to your appeal within 60 days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state Attorney General.

The Service is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from another country, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
